Meet Our Student Dance Instructors

Celina Beyer-Teal

Celina has been dancing since she was 3 years old.  She began dancing competitively at age 5, receiving many top scores and placements as well as scholarships.  Currently, Celina attends Ballston Spa High School as an honor student, involved in various clubs and activities.  She enjoys spending time with friends and sharing her love of dance with younger dancers.  At Dance Evolution, Celina assists with competition groups, choreographs competition solos and teaches beginner recreational tap dance.  Celina strives to be a role model for the younger dancers and hopes to continue teaching through her college years and beyond.

Morgan Dreher

(Contemporary, Lyrical)

Morgan Dreher is 17 years old and currently a Senior at Ballston Spa High School. Morgan started dancing at the age of 5. She joined the Dance Evolution Competition Team in 4th grade and it has been her home ever since. Morgan’s favorite styles of dance are Lyrical and Contemporary. She also enjoys jazz, hip hop, musical theater, and ballet. Morgan has won many awards, scholarships, and top scores throughout her competition career. She has participated in numerous dance workshops both locally and out of state. Throughout the Covid pandemic, Morgan took online classes from professional studios in California. 

Morgan began choreographing for Dance Evolution at the age of 15 and has also been a Junior Choreographer for the Carpe Diem Theater group. Morgan has also appeared in musicals with Carpe Diem Productions, Spa Little Theater, Ballston Spa’s Launching Pad, and Ballston Spa Senior High School’s Troupe. Morgan loves to share her love for dance with her students. She loves to watch them learn, grow, and perform. She takes great pride in what she puts on the stage.

Kelly Curran

Kelly Curran is 17 years old and a senior at Ballston Spa High School.  Kelly has been dancing since she was 4 years old and competing for 12 years.  She has a passion for tap and is a strong advocate for bringing tap into the forefront of the dance world.  During her competition years Kelly has won numerous high-score awards and special judges' awards, selections for national dance teams, several scholarships and was named an Ultimate Assistant for Spirit of Dance national competition.  

Kelly began teaching solos at age 12 and continues to teach solos, duos and groups.  Kelly enjoys sharing her passion for dance with all of her students.  

Kelly is an honor student, 2019 Class President and a member of  the Ballston Spa Varsity Tennis Team.
