CLASS OF 2023

Celina

Celina is graduating from Ballston Spa High School, 4th in her class. She will be attending Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College in New York City in the Fall, majoring in Human Biology with a possible minor in dance education. Celina will be on a Pre-Med track with a goal of becoming an emergent care or pediatric doctor. Throughout high school, she has been involved in theater, student government, honor society and Tri-M Honor society.

Celina's number one past time and love has always been dance, particularly tap, since she was 3 years old. Over the last 15 years, Dance evolution has been her home away from home. More important than advancing her own skills, she strives to pass on her knowledge and love of dance to the students she teaches. She is so proud of each and every one of them.

CLASS OF 2022

Meghan

Our first senior graduate this year is Meghan Curran. Meghan has been dancing for 15 years and her favorite style of dance is tap.

Her favorite memories are hanging out in the dressing rooms at competitions, going out to dinner when traveling for the competitions and making the best friends in the whole world. Meg says that she will miss being able to dance on stage with her best friends and everyone at the studio. She will be attending the University of South Florida this summer to major in Environmental Science.

We will miss you so very much Meg! We wish you all the best and hope to see you back on your breaks!  Charli will be looking for you in the future to help her with her tap dancing. Congratulations!

Anna

Our next senior graduate is Anna Meisenburg. Anna has been dancing for 14 years of which the last 8 years were on the competition team. Her favorite style of dance is tap.

Anna’s favorite memory was when chuck (Miss Alexa’s baby girl Charli) won best behaved baby at the TCDC competition in Burlington this year. Anna says she will miss her friends the most. She will be attending RIT to major in Political Science through their law program with Syracuse Law and then become an environmental lawyer.

Anna, we are so proud of you and will certainly miss you here at the studio! We wish you much success and happiness as you head out into this great big world. Congratulations!

Morgan

Our next senior graduate is Morgan Dreher who also taught some of her own classes this year and did an incredible job with her students. Morgan has danced for 15 years and her favorite style is both lyrical and contemporary.

Some of Morgan’s favorite memories are going to Nationals in Cape Cod and running around hotels at competitions. Mo says that she is going to miss all of her dance friends and dance teachers. Morgan will be attending Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College and will be majoring in Human Biology and minoring in dance.

Mo we wish you all the best in your future and hope that you continue to choreograph for the dancers. We are going you miss you tons!    Congratulations!

Bela

Our next senior dancer is Bela Cherry. Bela has been dancing since the age of 4 and her favorite style of dance is hip hop.

One of her favorite memories is attending the dance recitals and getting to watch and perform for everyone. Bela will miss all of her friends that she has made during her dance journey along with her dance teachers that have taught her so much more then just dance. After Bela graduates she will be going to ACC SUNY Adirondack to major in Psychology.

We will miss you Bela and wish you all the best! Time needs to slow down, but we are excited to see your next adventure. Congratulations!

Sydney

Our final Senior graduate is Sydney Knapp. Sydney has been dancing since the age of 4 and her favorite style of dance is contemporary.

Sydney says that her best memories were making good friends throughout the years and watching all of the amazing dances at the recital. She will miss all of the teachers that have made her the dancer that she is today along with all of the friends she has made over the years. After Sydney graduates, she will be attending SUNY Adirondack to major in nursing.

We will miss you Sydney and thank you for your dedication to DE. Go out there and make your dreams come true! Congratulations!


CLASS OF 2021

Aubrey

Aubrey was three when she started dancing. Her favorite style of dance is tap. Aubrey was 13 when she started assisting with Ms. Samantha. Some of her favorite memories at Dance Evolution were her duos with Alexis and teaching with Ms. Samantha!  Aubrey remembers "Dance Evolution allowed me to meet some of my closest friends and some of the best teachers. It gave me the opportunity to try and learn new things as well as grow into the person I am today!" Something people may not know about me is that I have been dancing with Ms. Samantha for fourteen years. I have done 6 different types of dance and been assisting teaching with Ms. Samantha for five years.

Aubrey is a 2021 graduate of Ballston Spa High School and is attending college at the University of North Carolina Charlotte studying Mechanical Engineering for the next four years.

CLASS OF 2019

ALEXIS

Alexis Moseman has been dancing for 14 years and tap is her favorite style of dance. Over the years, Alexis has made some wonderful friendships at the studio and gained the confidence to go on stage. Alexis has also given her time helping Miss Samantha with the little ones as a teacher assistant. We thank you for being a role model for them.

Alexis will be graduating from Saratoga Springs High School in June and she plans on attending Suny Plattsburgh for the next 5 years majoring in Early childhood Education and Special Education.

We have enjoyed having you as part of the DE studio and we wish you all the best in your future years!

KELLY

Kelly Curran has danced with Michele since the age of four and has been competing since the age of six. Her favorite style of dance is Tap. Along with her dancing, she has also dedicated the last 5 years to teaching and passing on her love of tap.

Kelly’s favorite dance memories are making lifetime friends through dance as well as her duos with her best friend Molly and her sister Meghan.

Kelly is graduating from Ballston Spa High School with honors. She will be attending the University at Buffalo in the fall as a Psychology major.

You will be missed Kelly! We wish you the best of luck in your future and congratulations!


CLASS OF 2018

MOLLY

Molly has danced with Michele since the age of four, and been part of Dance Evolution's competition team since the age of six. 

Molly's favorite dance memories include tap and jazz duos with her sister Megan and best friend Kelly.

Molly is graduating from Saratoga Springs High School with honors.  She will attend Houghton College in Houghton, NY and major in Writing and Communications while playing varsity field hockey.  Molly will also spend spring semester 2019 in London as part of Houghton's London Honors Program.

You will be missed, Molly!  Congratulations!

HALEY

Haley has been dancing for six years and is a senior member of Dance Evolution's competition team.  

Her favorite dance memory is spending all those long weekends with her dance family at competitions.

Haley will graduate from Schuylerville High School and attend San Diego State University in San Diego, CA this fall, majoring in dance.

We know you'll succeed wherever you go, Haley.  We will miss you!  Good luck and congratulations!

SCHALLEHN

Schallehn has been dancing since the age of 3 and has been competing in many styles of dance since the age of 6.

Schallehn is graduating from the Ballston Spa High School and will be attending dental hygiene school, but will also continue to be an instructor here at DE.

Her favorite memory was when the girls won the dance off at Nationals with the dance “The Ladder” and won the highest paid amount of $1000. That dance brought the girls many high scores, and they ended the year with it being the biggest success.

We wish Schallehn the very best after she graduates and we are so lucky that she will still be with us to share her knowledge and love of dance.

CLASS OF 2017

CAITRIONA

Congratulations to our senior dancer Caitriona. Caitriona has been with DE for four years and attends Burnt Hills - Ballston Lake High School.

Her favorite dance memory is when a fellow dancer dropped her on her head (yes, this is really her favorite) and she was asked if she had a neck.

Caitriona will be attending Rochester Institute of Technology in the fall to major in Biomedical Engineering.

We wish you the best in your future endeavors. Congratulations Catchy!

MEGHAN

Congratulations to our senior dancer Meghan. Meghan has been with DE for 8 years and attends Ballston Spa High School.

Her favorite dance memory is "Caitchy the Taxicab" and the unexpected duo with Cheyanne.

Meghan will be attending SUNY Brockport and studying Psychology and then will attend graduate school to become a Guidance Counselor. We wish you much success in your future endeavors and you will be missed, Meghan.

HANNAH

Congratulations to 2017 senior dancer, Hannah. Hannah has been with DE for four years and will graduate from Burnt Hills - Ballston Lake High School.

Her favorite dance memory is the year hen she danced to "Heavy in Your Arms".  She was so proud of her dance (and rightly so)!

Hannah will attend SUNY Oneonta with plans to major in fashion marketing. We wish you much success in your future endeavors. Congratulations, Hannah!

CHEYANNE

Congratulations to 2017 senior dancer, Cheyanne .  Cheyanne has been dancing for 16 years!  She will graduate from Ballston Spa High School.

Cheyanne's favorite dance memories are joining the competition team, and all the travel that goes with it.  Her mom Jennifer and grandmother Agnes have supported Cheyanne all throughout her 16 years of dance.

Cheyanne's future plans are to work with young children in education and dance.  We loved having Chey here at DE. and we can't wait to see where life takes her.
